As of yesterday, they have taken the following investigative steps toward restoring cloud services:
Conducted a full diagnostic with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity and forensics firm.Confirmed that unauthorized access into some of their cloud regions did occur.Implemented additional safeguards to bolster network security and enhance detection capabilities.Deployed a next-generation endpoint detection and response tool to all their network and cloud systems.

Continuing with their investigation to determine the full scope of the incident.Monitoring the affected systems using several detection tools that have already been deployed to ensure that the cloud environment remains protected from any further abnormal activities.Enhancing their existing monitoring capabilities with a 24/7 expert security operations center for any signs of unusual activity.Identifying and verifying the root cause of the security incident.
